This book is available on-line from Open Library both as a PDF scan (26 MB) of the original and in much more compact (1 MB) text and ebook formats created by automated character recognition software. The latter contains a number of typographical errors.

  • In commemoration of the two hundredth anniversary of the incorporation of the town of Mason, N.H., 1768-1968. By Mason Bicentennial Book Committee. Published 1968. This book is at the Mason Public Library. Also, you can purchase copies from the Mason Historical Society.
  • The History of Bode and His Statue. In 2008 on the Mason town green, the statue of Bode was dedicated to Elizabeth Orton “Twig” Jones (1910-2005), a renowned illustrator and author of children’s books and former Mason resident. Crafted by Mason resident Liz Fletcher, the statue depicts Bode, the first recorded colonial inhabitant of the land that is now recognized as the town of Mason. The document recounts the 2008 statue dedication ceremony with remarks from Mason resident Charles Moser, pictures of the dedication speakers, a chronology by Liz Fletcher of the making of the statue, historical details on Bode, and a list of contributors to the project. Contributors to the document include Charles Moser, Liz Fletcher, members of the Mason Historical Society, Garth Fletcher, and others as noted.
