Notice of Site Walk

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Mason Planning Board will meet on Saturday, December 9th, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Lot J-60 to hold a site visit.  Lot J-60 is located on Churchill Road across the roadway from Marty’s Driving Range, in Mason, NH.  The site visit will be held for the following application:

Planning Board Case MAS 23-03: An application by Marty’s Driving Range, LLC for site plan approval to permit short-term rental camping accommodations (tent, yurt, or teepee) on Map J Lot 56.  Lot J-56 does not have road frontage.  The tent sites will be accessed via an existing cart path that passes through adjacent lot J-60 and Marty’s Driving Range on Lot J-69-1 across Churchill Road.  The existing parking lot for Marty’s Driving Range will also be used for glamping customers.

The site visit is a continuation of the public hearings on the case and is open to the public. Its limited purpose is to assist the Board members and other interested parties, to become familiar with the property involved in the applications. Board and Commission members and other interested parties may, through the Board or Commission Chairs, ask questions about, and the applicant may point out, site details pertaining to the application, such as boundaries, contours, proposed buffers, driveways, etc. No other testimony will be taken, and no further discussion shall occur.

In the event of inclement weather, a notice will be posted on the Town Website if the walk is canceled.
