~ Mason Fire Department Has Five New Instructors

Mason, New Hampshire, June 17, 2022 —

Mason Fire & EMS had five members take the Fire Instructor I certification course through the New Hampshire State Fire Academy. This course was two nights a week for a month totaling 40 hours of training. The program is to teach people the art of teaching from pre-made lesson plans and materials. The five new instructors are Cpt. Jeffery Partridge, Cpt. Kenn Spacht, Lt. Michael Knowles, Lt. Beau Landry, and Firefighter/ EMR Zachary Partridge. Chief Burns states the department is proud to have staff dedicated to keep training moving forward.

With the addition of these five new instructors, it will allow the department to do more, quality in-house training and better prepare new staff for success at the firefighter I and EMR Level. Burns plans over the next five years to start building a training facility for continued development of the staff and to offer more in-house programs.
